This is a picture of Lorain Product's largest plant in Lorain, located at F Street. In 1973, Lorain Products Corporation was purchased by Reliance Electric Company of Cleveland. Through a series of mergers and buyouts, Lorain Products was eventually made part of the giant electronics company Marconi. In 2003, the last workers at Marconi Communications were laid off and a Lorain company that was in continuous operation for 67 years was no more.
