With her work at Gibson, Helen became known as a leading poet in the greeting card industry. She wrote many well-known poems, especially poems about Thanksgiving, Christmas and other spiritual topics. During the 1960s, Helen became very popular and published several books of poetry, including Just for You in 1967 and Heart Gifts in 1968.
