This is a picture taken from on top of what was then the Broadway Building in downtown Lorain. This area is where the streetcars that traveled on Broadway turned around as well as turning left or right down Erie Ave. This area was called "The Loop". In the background (upper right corner), the Antlers Hotel is seen. On the right side of the picture, you can see what was to become the city bus stop. Also, notice the sign on the building from which the photo was taken - the Broadway Building (now the Spitzer Hotel) had a bowling alley in it! This photo was taken in the 1930s.
